This Saturday, July 25th, we'll be hosting our first Root River Field Day at the Eagle Bluff Environmental Learning Center near Lanesboro, MN. We will be engaging participants with hands-on activities which show how land, water and life are connected throughout the Root River Watershed. Activities and topics include a Karst geology demonstration, Driftless topography, stream monitoring, macroinvertebrate study, seining and fish identification, and natural spring investigation.
The event is free and takes place between 10am and 2pm on Saturday. Visitors should park in the Eagle Bluff parking area and follow signs to our information booth to get started.
